Installation "stuck" on step 3, no errors

Installation "stuck" on step 3, no errors. I'm waiting 24 hours a day and nothing, just shows up for installation and nothing more. What's wrong? What should I do?

thanks for the reply, managed to solve the issue as well. since my database use custom port, that the reason it didn't work as it should.

and one more thing was because I start the installation using https, with causing content error (only saw this when I open inspect element).

hello guys can you help me understand , what i am doing worng , i used Xamp, created a local server and on step 3 , i am stuck , after puting in all information like company information in "admin" setup , by clicking "Next" nothing happens

Hey, I also have this issue. How can I fix the issue with the port?

I had this problem happen when the first time I ran the installer it created all the DB tables but then later failed due to PHP version checking code that was just.... wrong (comparing strings vs ints). Once I fixed the installer script it still wouldn't go past step 3 until I deleted all the tables from the DB and started fresh.
